WELLNESS EXAMS
We suggest a complete physical exam every year for your pet to ensure any possible issues are caught early and addressed right away.
WELLNESS PLANS
We provide comprehensive Kitten and Puppy Wellness plans to keep your pet happy and healthy.
LABORATORY CARE
We are proud to offer an on site laboratory along with the ability to send samples away for extensive testing through a specialized animal health laboratory (typically with next day results).
MICROCHIPPING
We can implant permanent identification for your dogs and cats to ensure their safety. We often do this during their spay or neuter surgery, but it can also be done during a routine appointment.
SURGERY
We take pride in our range of surgical services, from spays/neuters to dental extractions to lump removals, to help give your pet the best possible health, longevity and quality of life. We recognize that surgery can be a stressful time and we go above and beyond in making sure your pet is safe and pain free.
NUTRITIONAL COUNSELING
We offer complimentary nutritional and weight loss consultations to help your pet achieve its ideal weight.
DENTAL CARE
In addition to guidance about home dental care, we provide dental cleanings and surgical tooth extractions.
VACCINATIONS
We promote an individualized vaccine schedule instead of a "one-size-fits-all" approach. Each pet is unique and we tailor the vaccines to maximize your pet's safety and health.
SENIOR CARE
We strive to give your pet a long and happy life. As pets age, their needs also change. We suggest six-month exams for our senior patients to catch disease in its earliest stages.
EMERGENCY CARE
WAH regrets it is unable to offer after-hours care. Although Woodstock does not have its own Veterinary Emergency Hospital there are several offering excellent emergency care nearby. In the event that your pet does require emergency care we recommend you call one of the facilities listed below. Please be aware there is currently a nation wide veterinary shortage and it is important you call in advance as many emergency clinics are often running near or at capacity.

About
Our Clinic
Wellington Animal Hospital was first opened in 1960 by Dr. Merle Schooley when he decided to locate a veterinary hospital on Wellington Street. The practice was originally both his home and a business. Over the years the practice grew and in 1990 Dr Donna Flanagan entered into partnership with Dr Schooley before taking over the practice in 1992.
With a growing number of satisfied clients and happy pets Dr. Liz Dennis joined Dr Flanagan in 2011. In October 2017 Dr Flanagan decided to pursue her love of travel and began to work less frequently. Dr Liz and Dr Donna (between travels) continue to practice the high standards and exemplary care Wellington Animal Hospital has become well known for in Woodstock.
