Dr. Liz was born in England and grew up in Ottawa.  She graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2007 and worked in the Waterloo area for 4 years, before becoming a partner at Wellington Animal Hospital in 2011. Since 2017 she has continued as sole owner. Her favourite part of her job is helping a sick animal recover along with helping treat and rehabilitate rescue animals. 

Liz and husband Jon have 2 girls, a mischievous Doberman named Kia, along with an adorable cat named Gimpy.  When she can get away she enjoys travelling, especially to the Collingwood area and England to visit her relatives.  She loves running with Kia and curling up on the couch with a good book and one or both of her pets!

Dr. Donna was born in Kitchener-Waterloo and graduated from the Ontario Veterinary Clinic in 1985.  She worked for 5 years at a practice in Watford that saw both large and small animals. In 1990 she became a partner at Wellington Animal Hospital and within two years she was the sole owner.  In 2011 she welcomed Dr Liz as her partner.
When she’s not practicing veterinary medicine, she loves to work in her vegetable garden on her farm, walk her two golden retrievers (Sydney and Daisy), cook, travel and spend time with her family.  She has two sons and a wonderful husband, Phil.  She thoroughly enjoys veterinary medicine and loves that everyday brings something new.

Kathy graduated in 2000 from St Clair College in Windsor and has spent almost 17 years working in mixed practices as she has a love for BOTH large and small animal medicine.Her interest in animals developed from growing up on a dairy farm in her younger years and has continued not only in her career but also in her spare time as she has a passion for showing draft horses.

Laurie graduated from the University of Guelph-Ridgetown Campus in 2013 with distinction as a Registered Veterinary Technician..  After graduation she worked for one year at the Ontario Veterinary College at the University of Guelph in the small animal surgery department.  Growing up she gained experience with dogs, lizards, and birds.  Becoming a veterinary technician was a natural progression for her as she has been around animals all her life.  She now resides in Cambridge with her three cats (Harlo, Phyllis, and Olive).  When not being an animal advocate she enjoys camping, reading, and spending time with family and friends.

Kim started at Wellington Animal Hospital in 2009 as an animal care assistant before being offered the opportunity to work as a receptionist, and most recently as office administrator.  As a mother of 4, she makes sure her children knew how to love and care for animals as she did when she grew up.  Kim's family has one lovable cat named Ludo, and a very hyper dog named Molly, as well as fostering some of the rescues as needed. Kim is an active member in her church, a Girl Guide Leader, and youth leader at Knox KAOS drop in, and is the Human Resource administrator for Knox Kids Camp.  Life is never dull around Kim’s household!

Sara has always had a passion for animals & knew at an early age she wanted to work with them. While in high school she started her career as a co-op student at a large and small animal clinic. She then went on graduate from the Medical Lab Technician program at Medix School. She has been with us since the beginning of 2010. Sara has two Nova Scotia Duck Toller Retriever named Raven & Marlowe. She also has three black cats, named Bella, Esme & Monster, who are all rescues. She enjoys horseback riding which she has been doing since she was 10 years old.

Jackie-Prior to joining Wellington Animal Hospital in 2016 as a receptionist Jackie worked for 15 years at the Ontario Veterinary Clinic in Guelph.  Born in England, Jackie moved to Canada in 1986.  She has many years experience in dog obedience and field trials with her own goldens and with volunteering with the Lions Foundation Service Dogs and Poster Puppy Program .  Jackie enjoys family time with her husband, four children, five grandchildren and of course her golden Hannah and cat Mitzy.

Nicole-has two mini dachshunds Buttons and Zipper which she treats as if they were her children and loves them to bits. Nicole has had dogs her entire life and has been working professionally with animals since 2006. Her experience includes working at a dog daycare/groomers, as well as a dog walker has helped push her towards her passion and career of helping animals. Nicole enjoys taking her dogs on long walks and cuddling with them on the couch.

Shirley has been involved with animals all her life having grown up on a dairy farm and then running a successful Sport Horse breeding business for 25 years. Through the years she also found time to work part time at the Veterinary Teaching Hospital at the University of Guelph. She really enjoys greeting clients at Wellington Animal Hospital and meeting their fur babies! Shirley and her husband Rick live in Ingersoll with their Australian Shepherd, Bohannon, and enjoy spending time with family, golfing, curling, and motorbiking. Shirley's favourite pastime is spending time with her grandchildren!

Dr Shannon was born in Brantford and grew up in the Dundas/Hamilton area.  After graduating from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2010 she moved to the Ottawa area where she worked for a year before moving to the Woodstock/Innerkip area with her, now, husband Mike.  Dr Shannon worked in Brantford for 7 years while she and her husband started their family.  She then worked in the Woodstock area for 2 years before going to work, most recently, in veterinary emergency medicine.  She joined Wellington Animal Hospital in 2021 as a locum/part-time practitioner while still working part-time at the emergency clinic in Waterloo.

Shannon and her husband have 2 children, an energetic German Shepherd named Neka and a fluffy cat named Zazu.  Outside of veterinary medicine Shannon loves to go to music concerts, read books with her bookclub and get outdoors for hikes and bike rides.

Amanda has been volunteering at Wellington Animal Hospital for over a decade.  She enjoys working with the animals and thinks the staff are awesome.  She has two cats that come in when they need special attention.  In her spare time she takes horseback riding lessons.  She is also involved with the Special Olympic's curling team.

Autumn Autumn Has loved animals since she was young age, and adopted her first cat Joy at the age of 13. Autumn attended college at Northern College in 2020 to become a Veterinary Technician and during her first year adopted her soul dog, Joey. Autumn Graduated college in 2022 and has been working at Wellington Animal Hospital since. Autumn loves the outdoors with Joey. Walking Joey and taking him on camping trips are some of her favourite things. In 2024 Autumn passed the Veterinary Technician National exam and became a Registered Veterinary Technician.
